Education

University of Dayton Fall of 2014 with Bachelor of Chemical Engineering, minors in Bioengineering and Pre-Medicine. Overall GPA of 3.6 and a major GPA of 3.8 I currently work as a Medical Scribe in the Emergency Department which provides continuing post-secondary education, as well as upkeep of my past education.

Experience

I tutored throughout my time as an undergraduate in a variety of settings with consistently high reviews from students. Scored 36 on ACT for math and 35 for ACT science. Scored 14 on MCAT PS and 12 on MCAT BS Scored 720 on SAT for math Scored a 5 out of 5 on: AP Calculus and AP Physics-both Mechanics and E&M I have always enjoyed teaching/tutoring other people. I feel as though I have a wealth of tools to help students understand class material at a fundamental level so they aren't simply memorizing concepts and regurgitating when it comes to test day. My favorite part of tutoring is that 'Aha!' moment and the widening of a students eyes when it finally clicks and a difficult concept has been understood. I have taken all math classes from geometry through differential equations. This includes pre-calc, all algebra, and all calculus. Scored A's in all of these classes. I have taken several years of higher level physics-based classes. Did very well in AP physics and scored a high 5 on the AP test in both Mechanics and E & M. Physics is definitely my best subject and by far the subject I have tutored the most. Relevant classes taken at the College level: Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Calculus (1-3), Differential Equations, Thermodynamics, Biology, Microbiology, Physiology, Genetics, Biochemistry, Bioengineering, and Biomaterials.

Hobbies

I played football at the University of Dayton until sustaining a career-ending neck injury midway through my Junior season. The injury was both a blessing and a curse as it ending my ability to played a sport I love, but has allowed me to pursue other passions. Since then, getting out in the outdoors has always been a priority. I love mountain biking and snowboarding. I have also recently gotten into river sports and guide in the summers. I also enjoy trail running, hiking, caving, and canyoneering. My future aspirations are in the field of medicine. I currently work as a scribe in the emergency department at the St. Charles hospital and plan on going to medical school in the fall of 2017.
