I attend Western Washington University, where I am preparing to graduate with a degree in Spanish and a degree in psychology. I didn't actually get into the Spanish language until I already graduated high school, but am now proficient and able to teach any level. I volunteered in Argentina and in Mexico, where I worked in not-for-profit preschools in underprivileged neighborhoods. In college, I enrolled in in-depth immersion courses. These classes helped to prepare me not only to speak Spanish, but to be able to work effectively in each Latin American country I visited. As someone who greatly appreciates the Spanish language, and who was able to learn to speak it fluently as an adult, I aim to bring the same knowledge to all of the students I encounter as a tutor. I live in Bend, Oregon. My number one interest in life is anything to do with the Spanish language, which is evident in my work and education history.
